Grants, NM- Join the engaging, entertaining, and educating Robert Torres as he tells Native American stories at El Malpais National Monument visitor center on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
Robert Torres, San Carlos Apache/Yaqui learned traditional stories from his Acoma grandfather. Robert states, “Ancestral influence throughout Storytelling has become my passion. I tell stories so people will see where we came from and why we believe the way we do.”
Robert will tell stories in the visitor center theater for an hour. Then bundle up for outside star gazing and telescope viewing. Warm up with a cup of hot chocolate while looking at the night sky.
