Thank you for supporting your public lands. Recreation fees provide a vital source of funding that helps improve park facilities, enhance visitor services, and protect natural and cultural resources for future generations.

Under the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act (FLREA), fees collected at Dinosaur National Monument are used to fund projects that directly benefit visitors and the monument's resources.

Your fees help support important projects such as:

  • Operating a shuttle between the Quarry Visitor Center and the Quarry Exhibit Hall
  • Improving trailheads and scenic pullouts
  • Upgrading visitor comfort stations in Split Mountain Campground
  • Enhancing accessibility for visitors with disabilities
  • Repairing and improving critical utility systems
  • Replacing road signs to help visitor wayfinding
  • Improving the Fossil Discovery Trail and other trails in the monument.

These investments help ensure a safer, more enjoyable experience for visitors while preserving the monument for future generations.
