Picnicking

We encourage visitors to pack their own food and utilize the various picnic areas within the park. Picnic areas include:

• in front of and within the courtyard of Furnace Creek Visitor Center
• in front of the Ranch hotel (off of Highway 190)
• Ashford Mill
• Hells Gate
• Mud Canyon
• Texas Springs Campground: limited parking

Microwaves to reheat your food are available at Stovepipe Wells' General Store.
