News Release Date: January 9, 2014 The National Park Service invites you to take advantage of the many recreational opportunities available at Death Valley National Park. All National Park units will waive entrance fees in honor of Martin Luther King Day, January 20, 2014. Come to Death Valley to explore a polished rock canyon, multi-colored and bizarre rock formations, warm temperatures, and sunny skies.
