It's Busy Here

Many people travel from all over the country and even the world to visit the Tower. The busiest months are typically July and August when the monument will see over 100,000 visitors per month.

As of September 2021, the park broke its all time high annual visitation seeing over 509,000 visitors, with the majority of visitation occurring between the end of May and the beginning of September. Devils Tower National Monument does allow people to rock climb on the tower and the annual number of climbers averages 5,000 each year, roughly 1% of the total visitation.
