The Denali Subsistence Resource Commission will meet on Monday, February 26 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Motel Nord Haven, located at Mile 249.5 Parks Highway in Healy. The Commission will be considering a range of issues related to subsistence hunting and fishing in the 1980 additions to Denali National Park and Preserve. The meeting is open to the public and public testimony opportunities are provided. Commission business on the agenda includes a review of the 2007-2008 federal and state subsistence wildlife proposals that would affect the park, wolf and moose harvest issues, and the Denali Resource Stewardship Strategy.
