The contractor has completed erection of the first bay cantilevered to the west, extending out over the east side of the slide (bay L5 to L4).

The ladder will allow crews to reach the west side of the construction site to prepare for upcoming work. Note how far the slide has moved since last August, when the contractor stopped maintaining the rough access route across the slide for heavy equipment.
