Last week, the contractor used a helicopter to move equipment and materials to the west side and began assembling the receiving tower at the west abutment.
Pre-assembly of the launch truss continued at the mile 44 staging area. They also began removing the crane, crane mats, and other equipment from the main truss of the bridge to make room for the launch truss.
