For Teachers

The parks are America's greatest classrooms, telling our stories, and conserving the best natural spaces the nation has to offer.

The National Park Service offers a multitude of educational services and resources, including classroom-based programs, field trips, distance learning, curriculum materials, and professional development opportunities for teachers.

The National Park Service is now in the midst of improving access to all of its educational offerings from over 400 individual sites via a single web portal. While Curecanti National Recreation Area and Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park programs and resources are not currently available at this location, a wealth of materials from other sites can be accessed via the Education Portal.
