Apply today to be a member of the Preventative Search and Rescue Team!

Spend your summer hiking outdoors and engaging with visitors from a variety of backgrounds. This is a 40 hour per week position, that requires weekends and holidays. We are looking for someone that works well on their own, but also communicates well with others. The salary range is $16.95-$25.97 per hour.

Duties

  • Hike a variety of trails each day.
  • Educate visitors on importance of hiking preparedness and answer visitor questions.
  • Offer first aid when appropriate to visitors.
  • In the event of a medical incident, call dispatch for support.
  • Develop and improve the park's Safety Program.

Conditions of Employment

You Must:
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be a United States of America citizen.
  • Be able to pass a government background check and have a valid drivers license.
  • Live in the local commuting area (Arco, Bellevue, Carey, Howe, Mackay) or any town in between these areas.
