We are currently accepting Cave Tour reservations for the 24'-25' school year!

Exploring Coronado Cave will expose students to the awesome power of time, water, and the earth. Students will unravel the mystery of how water shapes our landscape and discover plants and animals that live in the park and the cave. This one mile round-trip hike includes a 500-foot elevation gain and a short section of steep, loose terrain. This program takes around three hours.

Like all our education programs, this field trip, and entry to the park, is free of charge!

Group Size: 1 - 2 classes (up to 50 students max); chaperones are mandatory (check with park for adult to student ratios).

We have availablity for ranger-led tours on most Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, October - April. We appreciate you making reservations at least two weeks in advance. Classes may also visit the cave without being on a ranger-led tour. Please still check in with us for safety considerations.
