Camping is the only form of overnight lodging that is available at Congaree National Park. There are no lodges, hotels or cabins located within the park. The nearest overnight accommodations are located in the city of Columbia, approximately 20 minutes from the park. The local Visitor's Bureau as hotel information and can help you to find a place nearby that fits your needs.
Food and Restaurants
There are no food services within the park. Limited food options are available in the town of Gadsden, approximately ten minutes from the park. A wide variety of restaurants are available in Columbia. The Visitor's Bureau has listings of all restaurants in the city, and can help you find one. You can also ask a ranger or volunteer at the information desk, or call (803) 776-4396 during the Visitor Center's hours of operations if you have any questions.
