While there are no restaurants, gas stations, or hotels located within the Monument, nearby towns have a variety of places to enjoy a meal and stay for the night. The closest towns to the Monument are Fruita, Grand Junction, and Palisade. Full services are available, including hotels, motels, restaurants, gas stations, coffee shops, shopping, grocery stores, and more. The visitor center bookstore sells granola bars and cookies.

The water bottle refilling station and water fountain located next to the visitor center's entrance are accessible 24 hours a day. Remember to bring water with you, especially if you're going for a hike.

Want lunch with a view? Pack your favorite foods and choose a picnic table to enjoy your meal. Two picnic tables are located next to the visitor center, or you can go to the Saddlehorn or Devil's Kitchen picnic areas. You can help protect your Monument by disposing of trash properly and not feeding wildlife or birds.

If you would like to camp in the park, the Saddlehorn Campground has sites available year round.
