Latitude and Longitude
The Saddlehorn Visitor Center in Colorado National Monument is at latitude 39.10075 N and longitude -108.73445 W.

Driving
Westbound on Highway I-70 towards Grand Junction, Exit 31 (Horizon Drive).
Follow signs through Grand Junction to the east entrance. The visitor center and campground are 19 miles from the east entrance.

Eastbound on Highway I-70 take Exit 19 (Fruita). Turn south on Highway 340 to the west entrance, which is approximately three miles from Fruita. The visitor center and campground are four miles up from the west entrance. If you are prone to vertigo or have an uneasiness with heights, you may want to opt for this entrance because you will be traveling on the inside lane, next to the hillside.

Airplane
Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, United, and US Airways currently serve the Grand Junction Regional Airport.

Train
Amtrak provides daily service to Grand Junction.

Bicycle
Many visitors ride bikes on Rim Rock Drive. Check out the regulations and suggested routes.

Private Taxis
For taxi information contact the Grand Junction Visitor and Convention Bureau.

Public Transportation
No services reach Colorado National Monument, however Grand Valley Transit provides public bus routes throughout the Grand Valley.
