National Park Service Continues Community Dialogues
Fruita, CO - Colorado National Monument will continue its open dialogues with the community by holding two public meetings to discuss safety issues along the East Hill public right-of-way as it relates to vehicle size, cargo, speed and other traffic concerns.
Karen Barbee of Steadfast Communication, LLC, in Glenwood Springs will be facilitating the meetings. On behalf of the National Park Service (NPS) she is inviting all interested stakeholders to contribute their voice, concerns and ideas. Both public meetings begin at 6:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. Join the facilitator and the NPS at the Glade Park Community Building at 101 16.5 Road, (in the vicinity of the Glade Park Store) on Tuesday October 7, or at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction, 159 Main Street on Wednesday October 8.
Prior to the meetings, there are other ways to participate which include meetings individually with the facilitator, going on-line, or participating in a phone conference. Opportunities to drop by and meet the facilitator in person are:
