Fruita, CO – The Saddlehorn Visitor Center at Colorado National Monument will be closed for the Thanksgiving (11/23), Christmas (12/25) and New Year’s Day () holidays. Rim Rock Drive, Saddlehorn campground (Loop A) and the rest of the monument will remain open as winter weather permits.
The visitor center will shift to winter hours of on . With the exception of the holidays, the visitor center is open seven days a week.
For those who enjoy peace and solitude, winter is a wonderful time to visit Colorado National Monument. Experience the quiet of a hike in the canyons or the beauty of rock formations from the overlooks.
Please use caution on roads and trails if winter conditions are present. To check on road conditions, call 970-858-3617 ext 402 for recorded information.
