Fruita, CO – The Saddlehorn Visitor Center at Colorado National Monument will be closed for the Thanksgiving (11/23), Christmas (12/25) and New Year’s Day (1/1/2018) holidays. Rim Rock Drive, Saddlehorn campground (Loop A) and the rest of the monument will remain open as winter weather permits.
The visitor center will shift to winter hours of 9:00am-4:30pm on Monday, November 27, 2017. With the exception of the holidays, the visitor center is open seven days a week.
For those who enjoy peace and solitude, winter is a wonderful time to visit Colorado National Monument. Experience the quiet of a hike in the canyons or the beauty of rock formations from the overlooks.
