Be A Junior Ranger

Explore the park, complete fun activities, earn a badge or patch.

Junior Rangers "Explore, Learn, and Protect" their national parks. Kids of all ages can stop by the visitor center to pick up a free junior ranger program booklet.

Our Junior Ranger Program is designed to help you and your family enjoy the reserve, as well as help the rangers protect its features. Being a Junior Ranger means more than just knowing about the nature and history of the area. Junior Rangers must help protect the area by obeying the rules and caring for the wildlife and special features of City of Rocks.

Junior Ranger Music

What could be more fun than music, national parks, and becoming a Junior Ranger? Well, as it turns out, the National Park Service has made music just for Junior Rangers. Use the links below to listen to samples from the "Songs for Junior Rangers" CD which has been awarded the Gold Seal from the Parent's Choice Foundation in Spring 2013.
