Directions

Chickasaw National Recreation Area is in south central Oklahoma, between Dallas, Texas and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

There are a number of destinations in the park, accessible by various roads. Please consult the park map or the GPS Coordinates page for more detailed information on how to get to specific destinations.

 

Getting Here

By Car
Chickasaw National Recreation Area is south and southwest of the town of Sulphur, Oklahoma. Sulphur is acessible via Highways 7 (east-west) and 177 (north-south).

Sulphur is approximately 10 miles east of I-35, which connects Oklahoma City and the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex.

By Plane
Both Dallas and Oklahoma City have international airports that are served by most major airlines. No public transportation exists to the park from these areas.

By Train
Pauls Valley and Ardmore have passenger train service. No public transportations exists to the park from these areas.
