Purchase and pickup locations

Order Online, Receive by Mail

To receive your pass by mail, order online at the USGS Online Store . Online orders are for physical passes, not digital passes, and may take up to three weeks to be processed and delivered. Order receipts may not be used in place of a physical pass. We recommend ordering at least three weeks in advance of your visit, or picking up a pass in person instead.

2025 Free Entrance Days in the National Parks

Come experience the national parks! All National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone (other fees, including timed entry or reservation fees, may apply). Mark your calendar for these entrance fee-free dates:

Displaying your pass

If you have a physical pass card:

Display your pass signature side up on your vehicle's dashboard or hang it from your rear view mirror with a provided hang-tag with the signature facing the windshield.

If you purchase a digital pass:

Passes are checked by the license plate you input when you purchased your pass on recreation.gov. You do not need to display a printed pass at Chattahoochee River.

Reservations are not available

Please note that an entrance pass, including a day pass, is not a reservation in the park. There is no guarantee that parking will be available. If you intend to use a day pass you may want to wait to purchase your pass until you have parked your vehicle. QR codes to the payment website are posted in the parking lot for your convenience, or you may buy online at recreation.gov.

If you received a fee notice

Forgot to pay your fee? Fee notices can be processed through Pay.gov. Please enter the ticket number when filling out the form.

Your fee dollars at work

The entrance fee you pay at Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area makes a difference! Under the Federal Recreation Lands Enhancement Act, national parks keep 80% of all fees collected and use that money to fund critical projects that improve services and protect resources. The park has been able to renovate the restroom facility near diving rock beach and install interpretive exhibits in the Island Ford Visitor Center with fee money. Learn more about Your Dollars At Work in the park.

When you park your vehicle in the park your proof of payment is a CRNRA Daily Pass, a CRNRA Annual Pass, or an America the Beautiful Pass. The pass must be displayed from the inside rear view mirror, or on the dashboard, of your vehicle making sure the face of the pass is visible from the outside.
