Main Parking Lot Paving Scheduled

Paving of the main parking lot at Chamizal National Memorial is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. The South San Marcial Street Gate and main parking lot will be closed to all vehicle traffic until further notice.

During this phase of the project, all access will be through the Delta Drive Gate on the south side of the memorial and parking will be available in the lot closest to that entrance. We regret that there will be no handicapped accessible parking spaces available until the newly paved main lot is reopened upon completion. Superintendent F. Gus Sanchez reminds visitors to obey all posted signs and directions of flaggers.

The memorial is open from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. daily. The Cultural Center and Museum are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. For questions or more information, please call Anne Doherty-Stephan at 915-532-7273 x124 or the Information Desk at x126 between 10 a.m. – 5 p.m . We look forward to your visit.
