On August 25th, 2018, the National Park Service (NPS) celebrates its 102nd anniversary to the theme of “Something New for 102,” a theme which Chamizal National Memorial embraces as we plan for future events. We invite you to come to our monthly “Chamizal Asks: What Do You Think?” program on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 at 7 pm to help us celebrate our NPS anniversary by sharing our birthday cake and joining a community conversation about future programs and events at Chamizal National Memorial.
What memorable cultural experiences would you like to see return to Chamizal National Memorial? What different kinds of activities, performances and cultural events would you like to see in the future? At “Chamizal Asks: What Do You Think?” we really do want to know! On Wednesday, August 15th at 7 pm, as we celebrate the National Park Service, we also want the community’s feedback on our signature Chamizal Cultural Festival, this “Chamizal Asks: What Do You Think?” monthly program, park-produced plays and performances, our upcoming permanent museum exhibits, community concerns, and more. Please take this opportunity to tell us what you think!
For questions, please contact Anne Doherty-Stephan at 915-532-7273 ext.124. If you are unable to attend but have suggestions about these topics, please call or email them to Anne Doherty-Stephan.
