Become a Junior Ranger at César E. Chávez National Monument!
Earn your Junior Ranger badge by completing fun and educational activities in our Junior Ranger Book. It’s a great way to learn about César E. Chávez and his legacy!
How to Earn Your Badge:
Pick Up a Free Booklet: Visit the visitor center to pick up a free Junior Ranger booklet. Complete the activities for your age group and then bring your finished booklet to the information desk.
Complete the Booklet at Home:
Can’t visit the park in person? No problem! You can download and print the Junior Ranger booklet at home.
Complete the activities for your age group and then mail your finished booklet to the monument to receive your badge!
Junior Ranger badges will not be shipped in the mail due to shipping costs. Badges can be received in person at the Visitor Center during normal operating hours.
Mailed Junior Ranger books will be returned stamped and signed with a paper version of the Junior Ranger badge. We are sorry for any inconvenience and hope to see you on-site soon!
