2025 Geology Jamboree

Unearth the Story Beneath Your Feet

Join us from August 1 to 3 for a weekend dedicated to the ancient forces and vibrant formations that shape the landscape of Cedar Breaks. During the Geology Jamboree, all park programming shifts to spotlight the spectacular geologic story written in our cliffs and colors. Through guided walks, ranger talks, and interactive activities, visitors of all ages can explore the processes that built this high-altitude amphitheater and continue to transform it today. Whether you're a rockhound, a casual explorer, or a curious kid, this is your chance to see the park through the lens of deep time.
