King's Flax - Linum kingii


Linum kingii
 is related to the more commonly know Blue Flax. It's growth is limited to the Eastern portion of the Great Basin, and Western edge of the Colorado Plateau. This little flower is low, compact, and much branched. All parts of the flowers are yellow.  Linum kingii is extremely variable in habit and in size of floral and vegetative parts.
