Alert: Historic home reservations suspended at this time due to significant impacts from Hurricane Helene. Please check the parks Facebook page for most recent updates as to when house will reopen for tours. There is no anticipated date at this time.

When the park opens for house tours, these opportunities will be listed and open for reservations here at Recreation.gov .

 

 

Permits

Certain types of activities require a special use permit. These include many types of organized gatherings, distribution of printed material and other public expressions of opinion, and other activities that are controlled or prohibited.

Some common activities that require a permit include:

• Commercial Photography
• Weddings
• First Amendment Activities
