Virtual Ranger Visits

Open to all classrooms regardless of location! For classes that unable to have in-person learning or are located far from the park, we are excited to visit you virtually. The education staff can bring the park into your classroom via a distance learning program. Our Virtual Learning programs utilize web-based video conferencing software, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and typically last 15-45 minutes.

Topics can be adapted to your specific classroom needs, or your state’s learning standards. Programs are typically held on Thursdays and Fridays. To book your program, Email our Education Office, or call 318-352-0383 x316

Additional Accessible Programing
Everyone can “Meet a Park Ranger” though the web! Our education staff will be happy to assist you in planning your customized Ranger led learning experience that meets the needs of your specific student(s). This can range from “What does a Park Ranger Do? Q&A” to reading a storybook.
