NPS Ranger-Led Field TripsRanger-led field trips are offered throughout the school year in the park. Field trip options include ranger-led tours of the grounds and outbuildings of Oakland Plantation and Magnolia Plantation. Each tour lasts approximately 45–60 minutes. To add additional components such as a self-guided tour of the main house at Oakland, your visit may need to be longer. Transportation FundingIf you need assistance for your school group to travel to the park, up to $350 in transportation grants may be available through the Cane River National Heritage Area. Contact us at 318-352-0383 to learn more about transportation grants.
