A beach debris cleanup operation in Avon was a big success on Tuesday, November 29, 2016. A large of amount of debris was picked up starting at Ramp 38 going north toward the fishing pier.
There is still a lot of debris cleanup work to be done, but today's effort was a great start. Huge shoutout to NPS staff and volunteers from multiple divisions at Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
