Park Statistics

The National Park Service has a public use statistical information website available for information on all National Parks. The new website has specific monthly public use reports from all parks and overviews of use from all of the National Parks. Information includes such things as camping use, backcountry use, overnight stays, concessionaire use, road use statistics and a great deal more.

In 2014 the park had 63,698 visitors

In 2013 the park had 65,106 visitors
In 2012 the park had 68,631 visitors
In 2011 the park had 72,308 visitors
In 2010 the park had 77,347 visitors
In 2009 the park had 76,350 visitors
In 2008 the park had 73,763 visitors

The decrease in visitation from 2010 to 2012 follows national trends.
