Superintendent George E. Price, Jr., is pleased to announce that sales of seasonal Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) permits for the 2009 season will begin at 8:00 AM, Friday, April 10. All four permit prices will remain the same for the third year in a row. Permit prices are as follows: seasonal ORV permit - $150.00; seasonal Self-Contained Vehicle (SCV) permit - $225.00; 7-day ORV permit - $50.00; 7-day SCV permit - $75.00. Permit sales will take place between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, seven days a week, from April 10 through November 15, 2009. The ORV corridor opens April 15, 2009. The 7-Day ORV and 7-Day SCV permits may be purchased through the Advanced Sales System or in person. Advanced Sales forms for the 7-Day ORV and SCV weekly permits will begin to be processed in March. As in previous years, seasonal ORV permits may be purchased in person at the Oversand Station at Race Point, Provincetown. No seasonal ORV permits may be purchased through the Advanced Sales System.
