Songs of the Sea Concert Slated for Salt Pond on June 30

Join Denya LeVine and Julie Charland for a free, one hour performance, Songs of the Sea, on Thursday, June 30 at 7 PM at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham. 

Denya LeVine is a well-known performer of ethnic music. She has made more than 2000 appearances in concerts, plays, weddings, parties, and as a strolling fiddler. In addition to her powerful stage performance, Denya is an expert in creating musical programs for nursing homes, libraries, and daycare centers. She also specializes in bringing music to people with developmental or mobility issues. She currently hosts the radio show The Fiddle and the Harp on WOMR. Julie Charland, of Toast and Jam, is a Nashville recording artist, award-winning songwriter, mother of three, and a local folk and bluegrass musician.

This upcoming program will be held in the air-cooled comfort of the visitor center auditorium. It is suitable for all ages, free of charge, and accessible.The program is sponsored by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore.

IF YOU GO: Salt Pond Visitor Center is located at the intersection of Route 6 and Nauset Road in Eastham, and can be contacted by calling 508-255-3421. The center is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM, with staff to assist with activity planning. Visit the museum, view a park film, enjoy panoramic views of Salt Pond and Nauset Marsh, and shop in the gift and bookstore featuring national seashore-related items.
