Repair Work Has Been Completed on Herring Cove Beach North Parking Lot

Superintendent George Price announces that the work to repair the winter storm damage to the north parking lot at Herring Cove Beach in Provincetown has been completed and the beach is open.

"We are pleased to have the north parking lot open and ready for the 4^th of July weekend," Price said. "We know that this parking lot is a local favorite for watching the sunset each evening." Price also said, "I appreciate all the extra effort by NPS contracting staff and the contractors on site to finish the work for our visitors at the start of the busy summer season."

The subcontractor for removal of the damaged material, grading, and prepping for pavement was Classic Site Solutions, Inc. The subcontractor for paving was Lawrence Lynch Corp. The subcontractor for striping the parking lines was Hartline, Inc.
