WELLFLEET, Mass. – Cape Cod National Seashore and Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore are partnering with Goose Hummock and L.L. Bean for a winter activities workshop on Saturday, January 13 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham. Learn tips and tricks from the experts on beating cabin fever and safely enjoying Cape Cod’s outdoor activities, even in the depths of winter.
The two-hour workshop includes presentations and a Q&A session. Goose Hummock staff will share best strategies and locations for paddling and fishing on the Cape during the winter months. Staff from L.L. Bean will follow with tips for how to dress to stay safe and comfortable for any outdoor winter activity. Afterwards, during an informal session in the visitor center lobby, Goose Hummock, L.L. Bean, and national seashore staff will answer questions about winter activities.
