A guided walk, Reflections on the Fall Harvest of 1621, will be held on Sunday, November 22 at 11 AM. Journey back to the events that took place on Cape Cod and Plymouth leading up to the fall harvest of 1621. Was this the first Thanksgiving? Reflect on professional research as you attempt to retrace the steps of the Mayflower passengers' first explorations of Cape Cod.Meet at the Pilgrim Heights parking area, off Route 6, Truro. 1-1/2 hours, one mile. Dress for the weather. Desperate Crossing, a History Channel production, will show on Sunday, November 29th at 1 PM on the large screen at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham.The film provides an in-depth look at the Pilgrims' perilous journey across the Atlantic, and how they overcame hardships to live and thrive in the New World. Accessible seating is available. Both programs are free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
