Contact: Dani Crawford, 508-255-3421, ext. 0305 Artist Erica Wheeler will celebrate the nature and history of Cape Cod during a concert of song, story, and humor at Salt Pond Visitor Center on Tuesday, June 28at 7 PM. Through her engaging and entertaining programs, Erica creates sense of place and belonging that is deeply needed in the world today. Hallmarks of her program include her warm vocals, poetic lyrics, folk/acoustic/Americana music, interactive songs-on-the-spot, and her wry sense of humor. Erica is an award-winning songwriter, TEDx speaker, educator, and professional development trainer. She has offered programs that connect people and place across the country, from Yosemite National Park to Walden Woods. Her latest CD, "Good Summer Rain," was sponsored in part by the Trust for Public Land, a national land conservation organization. Held weekly at 7 PM in the summer in the air-cooled comfort of the visitor center auditorium, programs focus on the diverse natural and cultural resources on the Outer Cape and are suitable for all ages. Programs are free of charge and accessible. The series is sponsored by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
