The Great Seal of the Navajo Nation

Several Navajo Nation agencies provide support with managing resources in the park - Chinle Chapter Government, Navajo Parks & Recreation Department, Navajo Tourism Department, Navajo Nation Film Office, Navajo Historic Preservation Office, Navajo Fish & Wildlife, Navajo Police Department, and Office of Dine' Youth.

Thunderbird Lodge

The Thunderbird Lodge in the park is under management of the Navajo Hospitality Enterprise and offers a motel, gift shop, cafeteria and canyon tours. Thunderbird Lodge is open all year and is conveniently located near the Cottonwood Campground.

Student Conservation Association

The Student Conservation Association provides summer employment for high school and college students in many National Parks. The SCA Native Conservation Crew is a local summer program for 15 to 19 year old students who work at Canyon de Chelly. Check out the SCA Canyon de Chelly facebook page.

Western National Parks and Association

The Western National Parks Association operates park stores in 66 National Parks across the west. Purchasing from the park store or becoming an association members helps support the parks. Visit the online store and visit the park store at Canyon de Chelly.

Bureau of Indian Affairs

The Chinle Agency of Bureau of Indian Affairs provides support for the preservation of lands and restoration of the watershed within the park.
