Historical Programs

IMPORTANT: Please Read

Historical and cultural programming will be offered again around late fall or early winter. Please check back here and on our socials for updates on when registration will become available.
If you are interested in a field trip to Cabrillo National Monument, please consider a science-based program, which are offered year round.

We will reassess the safety of in-person programming on a month by month basis. In-person programming is subject to cancellation at any time if conditions are deemed unsafe.

At this time, all participants of in-person programming are encouraged to wear a mask, but it is not required when with a park ranger.

School groups are NOT permitted to enter the gift store under any circumstances. It distracts from the educational component of the visit and does not provide an equitable experience for all students. We appreciate your understanding.

Programs offered in-person:
J.R. Cabrillo: A Voyage of Exploration
Growing up in the Point Loma Lighthouse
Kumeyaay Supermarket

Programs offered virtually:
J.R. Cabrillo: A Voyage of Exploration
