Cabrillo National Monument celebrated Qkids day with Qualcomm, Inc. by hosting a biodiversity scavenger hunt using the program iNaturalist. Bioblitz events are great opportunities to learn more about the biodiversity of a given area and contribute to our greater understanding of the biodiversity of our world. In addition to obtaining valuable species information from targeted inventories with scientists, this provides a tremendous opportunity to engage youth and expose them to hands-on resources stewardship.
