Certain activities at Bryce Canyon National Park require that you obtain a permit prior to your visit. Permit information and applications are available by clicking on the links below.

Special Use Permits (SUP)
Special Use Permits are required for commercial filming or photography, weddings, scattering cremated remains, and other special activities. Go to the Special Use Permits page for more and to download a SUP application.

Commercial Use Authorizations (CUA)
Tour operators who engage in interpretive tours, bicycle tours, motorcycle tours, photography workshops, and certain other commercial services are required to obtain a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) prior to visiting Bryce Canyon National Park.

Academic Fee Waivers
Academic Fee Waivers for qualifying institutions on an educational visit may be obtained by applying for a Fee Waiver here.

Research & Collection Permits
Research & Collection Permits are required for scientific research and collection at Bryce Canyon National Park. Based on the complexity of the planned research, Bryce Canyon National Park has instituted minimum review times to ensure enough time for the approval process.

Reservations Camping & Lodging
for camping and lodging are recommended. Camping fees are in addition to entrance fees, and are charged per night. A limited number of campsites may be reserved from early May to late September and reservations fill up fast (the remaining campsites are first-come-first-serve). Reservations can be made up to six months in advance.
