Follow the High Tide Trail to explore the history of Boston’s changing coastline and learn what future changes may be in store.

This self-guided audio tour is also available on the free NPS app! You can download this tour ahead of your visit and listen along as you walk through Boston.

Please note that the trail path consists of different surfaces (cement, cobblestones, pavement, wooden boardwalk) and are occasionally uneven. Please be aware that during high tides, many walking areas may flood, making conditions hazardous. Check out the Stone Living Lab's safety tips for more information about preparing for high tides.
