The Lorax comes to the Big Thicket! On Wednesday, December 7th, bring the whole family for a FREE showing of Dr. Suess’ The Lorax at the Big Thicket Visitor Center. This classic story, vibrantly adapted for the big screen, tells the tale of Ted, a boy who leaves his plastic-covered city and embarks on a delightful adventure to save the trees. Join us at 6 pm before the movie for some fun, hands-on activities about the responsible use and conservation of forests (recommended for ages 5-12).

The Big Thicket Visitor Center is located just off of Hwy 69/287, at 6044 FM 420, seven miles north of Kountze, TX.
