Hundreds of thousands of children nationwide, including here in Southeast Texas, will take part in a grassroots movement to discover America’s parks through play on Saturday, May 21, to commemorate National Park Trust’s (NPT) sixth annual Kids to Parks Day.
In recognition of National Kids to Parks Day, we would like to invite everyone to explore the hiking trails, padding routes, and day use areas of Big Thicket National Preserve. On Saturday, May 21st, we will offer a number of engaging activities at the preserve visitor center for kids of all ages.
