Big Thicket National Preserve Facilities Remain Closed Due to Hurricane Harvey

Due to continued flooding and ongoing power outages throughout the region, all Big Thicket National Preserve facilities will remain closed through Sunday, September 3rd, 2017. Distribution of 2017-18 Hunting Permits will begin next week, once the visitor center can safely reopen.
