Walgreens of Oneida will be set up at Big South Fork’s annual Storytelling Festival on Saturday, September 21 to provide flu shots to the public. They will be in the Bandy Creek area from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm ET. No appointments necessary.

Flu season often begins in October and last through the fall and winter and can last as late as May. It takes two weeks for the body to develop immunity following the shot.

This year Haunting in the Hills Storytelling Festival is special because Big South Fork National River and Recreation is celebrating its 50th Birthday!

Traditional arts and crafts, Appalachian music as well as food services will be included as part of the festival throughout the day. The scary stories begin at 8:00 pm and last until 10:00 pm ET. Bring a chair or blanket, flashlight and be prepared to get scared.
