The 30th annual Haunting in the Hills Storytelling Festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 17, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (ET) at Bandy Creek Visitor Center area field. Enjoy a fun-filled day of stories, music, crafts and more. This signature special event is free and open to the public. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and be part of a 30-year tradition, and make sure to stay through the evening for the captivating Haunting in the Hills ghost stories.Storytelling has always been an important part of the Big South Fork community. What started as a small program for local schools 30 years ago has turned into a full day long festival with professional storytellers from around the world. This event will begin with ranger-led programs, followed by live music and storytellers performing throughout the day.
