WISDOM, MT. On March 15th-18th, 2022, the Big Hole National Battlefield Visitor Center will be closed for staff to participate in professional and employee development. The interpretive park rangers will join staff from Nez Perce National Historical Park and Whitman Mission National Historic Site to share expertise and resources to prepare for the upcoming summer season.
All trails continue to remain closed due to the Trail Creek fire that occurred on the park last summer.
The Visitor Center will reopen to the public, March 19, 2022, at 10:00 am. Winter hours remain Tuesday thru Saturday, 10:00 am- 4:30 pm.
