Los Alamos, N.M. – Heavy rains caused significant flash flooding in Frijoles Canyon at just before 5 pm on the afternoon of September 5. Visitors should anticipate possible closures beginning on the morning of September 6 as National Park Service teams assess the flooding’s impact on park resources.
