Bandelier National Monument will remain closed on Friday, December 15, 2023 due to residual snow and ice accumulation. It will reopen for normal operations on Saturday, December 16, 2023.

“Ice and snow conditions have reduced the efficiency of clearing operations,” said Chief Ranger Dennis Milligan. “The park will stay closed to allow staff to clear priority areas, such as the parking lot and Pueblo Loop Trail.” Any updates will be posted to the parks social media pages.
