Location:           Aztec, New Mexico
Position:            Laborer
Work Period:     Through May 31, 2011 with possibility of extension
Tour of Duty:      Full Time. Will work weekends and holidays

Salary:              WG 03 ($14.00 per hour)

Primary Duties: Performs custodial duties (sweeping, mopping, cleaning, etc.); may assist other workers in painting, carpentry, electrical, utility, and irrigation projects; collects trash and material for recycling; picks up litter; moves furniture, equipment, and other heavy loads; operates small power equipment; performs grounds maintenance such as mowing, tree/brush trimming and removal; makes signs; loads and unloads trucks; performs traffic control flagging; stocks janitorial supplies; and other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed: Knowledge of the use of cleaning supplies and equipment; knowledge of safeand proper operation of mechanical equipment such as power mowers, chain saws, power drills, cleaning equipment and various hand tools; knowledge of safe work practices; knowledge of repairs and maintenance ofsmall power equipment; must possess a valid state driver's license.Required to lift and carry objects over 50 lbs.Will be required to walk distances, bend, and work in confined areas for extended periods of time as well as to perform heavy work on a repetitive basis. Outdoor work will sometimes be required in a variety of adverse conditions.

Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen and a student in good standing enrolled at least ½ time at an accredited high school, college, or university.
