Berlin, MD - The Beach Clean Up event scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, is canceled due to predicted storm conditions. The event is canceled in both the Maryland and the Virginia Districts as well as Assateague State Park.
Park entrance fees are still waived in the National Seashore (MD) and in the National Wildlife Refuge (VA) for National Public Lands Day.
If you still choose to visit Assateague Island National Seashore, please use caution as heavy rains, high winds, and possible thunderstorms are predicted.
